Meet Candidate Rabbi Eitan Bloostein
Weekend of February 20th through 22nd

The Rabbi Search Committee was appointed by the President of CBS/FLJC to identify potential candidates for the position of permanent rabbi. After a rigorous screening and interview process, qualified candidates are invited to join us for a Shabbat visit, with various activities scheduled throughout the weekend, to afford as many opportunities as possible to engage with the congregation and get to know each other.
We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting Eitan Bloostein on Friday, February 20th through Sunday, February 22nd. (Click here to see Rabbi Bloostein’s bio.)
Our tentative schedule is as follows:
Friday, February 20
7:30 pm – Kabbalat Shabbat Service led by Rabbi Bloostein followed by Oneg [NOTE THE LATER TIME]
Saturday, February 21
9:00 am – Shabbat Morning Services led by Rabbi Bloostein and Cantor Stokar, with d’var Torah delivered by Rabbi Bloostein
12:00pm-12:45pm – Kiddush with Rabbi Bloostein in the large ballroom
12:45pm-1:45pm – Q&A with Rabbi Bloostein in the large ballroom*
1:45pm – Mincha in the sanctuary
6:20pm – Havdalah led by Rabbi Bloostein in the sanctuary
Sunday, February 22
9:00am-9:45am – Morning Minyan led by Rabbi Bloostein in the chapel
9:45am-10:15am – Breakfast with Rabbi Bloostein outside the chapel
10:15am-11:00am – Adult Education Presentation by Rabbi Bloostein in the chapel
