Our Programs

The "Tiny Tots" program is open to children who are 2 by September 1st. The program schedule is consistent with the Nursery School program schedule. Two year olds are very special people and require very special care...as do toddler parents. In both of our two year old programs our expert staff concentrates on easing families through a successful separation process. Social interaction, exploration, language development and building a positive self image are the foundation of these programs. Incorporated into these programs are stories, music, art, movement, finger play, Jewish holiday celebrations, Share a Shabbat program as well as an interactive circle time.

Join us for a Family Shabbat Celebration for children 3 months to 5 years old in the upstairs auditorium. Upcoming dates: November 15 & December 20. Non-members welcome. Bring friends and make friends. For more information or to get email reminders about upcoming services, contact Wendy Grinberg at fljctots@yahoo.com

Open to children who will turn 3 by October 1st. This program is designed to provide an atmosphere that encourages social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth and development. The curriculum includes a daily interactive circle time where they learn to recognize their names and they are introduced to calendar skills, small group experiences, creative art activities, literature, finger play and songs.

Specialties include movement and dance, and a weekly music program. The classroom environment encourages the development of the whole child emotionally, socially and cognitively.

Open to children 4 years old by October 1st. The Pre-K is developmentally appropriate and is geared toward fostering positive feelings about self and school. The program provides a strong foundation of learning and prepares children to enter Kindergarten the following school year. Our Pre-K contains a variety of learning centers which present opportunities to think, explore, create, experiment and discover. Through these activities the children gain self-reliance, independence, and the ability to follow directions, make decisions and problem solve. Specialties include music, movement, and Yoga. Exposure to Jewish holidays and traditions, tefillah, Israel, and a weekly Kabbalat Shabbat experience strengthens their love of Judaism. The children experience hands-on learning through dramatic play, movement, art projects and physical exploration together with more structured learning including letter recognition, phonemic awareness, weekly reader, exploration of science, the introduction to math concepts and daily circle time activities.

Kindergarten Enrichment is a supplement to the public school and the curriculum is identical to the Judaic Studies Kindergarten Curriculum.

Throughout the year the children will be enriched by specialists in MUSIC, MOVEMENT AND YOGA.

A Computer can be found in the Pre-K and Kindergarten classrooms. Educational computer games are used to reinforce areas of their curriculum.
